• What was the most enjoyable part of athletics for you? Why?high jump because it's fun and I like jumping and it is the easiest.

• What are you really proud of? Why? Everything because I feel proud with myself.

• What was the most challenging part? Why? Long distance because it is tiring and when I was running I felt like I was last so I was embarrassing.

Description: we did a risk taking task it was when 20 of the year 6 went with the teachers and said what was there risk so the those 20 year 6 came and did it with the rest of the students

Description: Every year ( I think ) we make calendar art this year we did a self portrait of of faces and we put marks ( drawings of thing we like ) and we made a piece of art. We had to flow some of the information in a slide and her is the slide.

Description: For math we are doing measurement for measurement we did a task at the start and then we did a task at the end as well and we did it to see how much we learnt I think I get a lot done at the end than at the start.

Description: For Et Reo we have been Learning about whakatauki's a whakatauki is a Maori proverb this one is he aha Te mea nui o Te ao? He tangata he tangata he tangata! This means that the most important thing is people. So we decided to make people and then stick them up on the wall the that whakatauki with it.

Troy writing

Description: For the last few weeks we have been writing a story that was based on a video that we watched it was about how you make tennis balls but we didn't write about anything to do with tennis or how tennis balls got made we got some words that where in the video could be something different to what it was like for example there was clay that was brown I thing but I thought it was chocolate or I saw stuff that was like paint so guess what I put down I think you got it I put down paint but some of the words we put down we couldn't have because

Discovery time

Today we discovery time today I did draw of castle crashers e.g blacksmith, can't stop crying. My favourite was the blacksmith but I didn't do the horns right. Next time I want to draw the clown.

Today we did discovery time I mostly played with OZOBOTS I learnt how to make them go. I had such a fun day I also made a big tent out of chairs blankets tables

Slc refletion

1) How do you think you did on your SLC? What was the highlight?

I think I did well at SLC because I thought that I shared from the heart. My highlight is that I was talking to my mum about my learning.

2) What did you do differently to make your SLC stand out?

I think the thing that made my SLC stand out was because I talk about some of the main parts.

3) How will you make your Home Led Conference in Term 3 be awesome? What things might you do to make it awesome? To make my hlc AWESOME I am going to take them to a place that got yummy food.

Necklace math

Description: for math we had to make a necklace with beans but we had $3 and green was 25c blue was 10c and red was 5c it also had to be repeating pattern so here is mine.

Today we change it up so that it starts with blue mostly red and yellow was added and it was 50c the first time but then it changed to 30c I have done both so one has the yellow as 50c and one of then are 30c.

Et Reo

Description: for et Reo we had to do some learning how to so the fruits in Maori we also wanted to learn Aotearoa by stanwalker I was mostly learning the song because it was hard to learn.

Writing sample halo chicken 4

Description: For writing we wanted to do some random writing. Mine is based on halo 4 but mine is about a chicken that's in the game. He try's to get rid of all the butchers that are trying to get the chicken and cut him up in into chicken. So that they can sell him but he is trying to also defend his family from getting hurt. My favourite thing about this story is that he has a girlfriend called portana and she is a piece of poop from the chicks bottom or butt. He shots eggs from his bottom and he can get upgrades so he can get a better butt gun like machine guns or pistols and more. The chicken is writing the story because it's is like when you go to war and he is writing to his family's so that's why it is got lots of mistakes.

Douglas park sports exchange sample

Description: On the 14 of June we did Douglas park sports exchange.DPSE (Douglas park sports exchange) is when two schools come together and play sports the sports that we play are basketball,hockey,soccer,rugby and netball. The two schools compete for the flag and there is five trophies last year we got three trophies and Douglas park got two trophies so that means we got the flag but this year they got three and we got two so they got the flag.
